Renovation of the Serra roundabout, Luxembourg-Kirchberg

Description Transformation of the SERRA roundabout into a roundabout of turbo type (diameter 80m) controlled by traffic lights according to a traffic concept drawn up by a third party bureau, and including the widening and modification of the trajectory of the Circuit de la Foire Int. (F.K.13) et and of the exit road of the A1/A7 motorway. Adaptation of the roadways adjacent to the Rue Hugo Gernsback, of the Boulevard Pierre Werner (F.K.14) and of the Avenue J.F. Kennedy (N51), creation of a provisional diversion on the Kirchberg P+R car park and construction of a retention wall (length=155m), all of this within the framework of several allied projects including the Luxembourg tramway and its inter-modal exchange hub. Modifications and complex reinforcements to several infrastructure networks (high and low voltage electricity networks, DN500 drinking water conduits, medium and low pressure gas channelling…).
